12u Wins Wolves Summer Beast

The 12u Motor City Bulldogs rallied for 3 runs and a walk off championship to cap the 2016 season!! The Bulldogs came up to bat in the bottom of the 6th trailing the Whitby Chiefs 5-3. But, the Bulldogs rallied with a double, a walk, a bunt single, a walk and a suicide bunt to tie the score and then walked off with a ground ball that scored that the winning run.

In the semi finals earlier on Sunday the Bulldogs defeated the Berkley Cubs by the score of 9-1. In pool play on Saturday the Bulldogs defeated the Bloomfield Sting 13-2 and the Dearborn Revolution 14-2.

This tournament ended the season for the 12u. The Bulldogs amassed an overall record of 25-15 while winning 3 tournaments - Game Day USA Mizuno event in Battle Creek, The Wolves Battle at the Border in Rossford, OH and the Wolves Summer Beast at Founders Park. In addition the Bulldogs finished as Runner Up in the 2016 TBS Michigan Major Elite after falling to the Saginaw Bay Riverdawgs in the finals.
