9u Bulldogs win USSSA Select 30 Super NIT

The 9u Bulldogs defeated the East Macomb Muskies 9-6 in the championship game to win the 2017 Select 30 Super NIT at Canton on April 30th. The Bulldogs grabbed an early lead but the Muskies battled back to tie the score in the 4th inning. The games stayed tied until the 6th and final inning when the Bulldogs rallied for 3 runs in the top half before playing some great defense in the bottom of the 6th to keep the Muskies from making another comeback.

Earlier on Sunday the Bulldogs defeated the MCBC Hit Dogs 14-3 in a semi final game.

On Saturday the Bulldogs went 2-0 in pool play to get the #2 seed and a bye in Sunday's bracket play. In the opening game the Bulldogs beat the Michigan Storm 15-6 after putting up 10 runs in the 4th inning. The Bulldogs beat the MCBC Hit Dogs 18-3 in the second pool game.
